The Digital Sound Enhancement Engine HX (DSEE HX) upscales your compressed digital music files (MP3, ACC, ATRAC and WMA) and takes them closer to the quality of High-Resolution Audio. By restoring the high-range sound lost in the compression process, DSEE HX produces your digital music files in rich, natural sound, closer to the quality of the original recording.

Savour every note with S-Master HX digital amplifier

Traditional amps require multiple digital to analogue conversions – each affecting quality. Sony’s S-Master HX amp is 100% digital for power without distortion. A Digital Signal Processor (DSP) analyses your digital file. Then the S-Master HX amplifier converts the signal to an analogue wave that’s closer to High-Resolution Audio. Finally, the signal flows through a Low Pass Filter (LPF) for accurate sound reproduction.

Complete your sound system via inputs and outputs

Reach new heights for your Hi-Fi set-up with the MAP-S1. Hook up your speakers through two outputs: there’s also analogue input and outputs. The LAN port allows you to easily connect to your home network.
